The Huron Freshman Volleyball team faced off against Carlson in a competitive matchup, showing effort and energy throughout the game. While the girls played hard and had several standout performances, there’s still room to improve in coverage and reading the court, which will be key areas of focus moving forward.
Leading the team were several strong contributors:
Brooklyn Shastal set up the offense well with 3 digs and 5 assists.
Jaeda Prince added 1 ace, 4 kills, and 3 digs, bringing power at the net.
Evanne Murray had a well-rounded performance with 3 aces, 5 kills, and 6 digs, showing consistency on both offense and defense.
Tinsley Barta played with great effort, adding 1 ace, 2 assists, and an impressive 15 digs.
Vivian Laidler, the team’s libero, anchored the defense with 1 kill, 1 assist, and a team-high 18 digs.
