The freshman volleyball team didn't have a game against Milan 9/17 but they had a Quad 9/19 against Wayne Memorial, Trenton, and Airport.

The first match was against Trenton. The freshman battled hard against Trenton in a close three-set match. Every set was neck-and-neck, with both teams fighting for every point. In the end, Trenton won, taking the match 2–1. Despite the tough loss, the game showed the team’s grit and determination.

Second match was against Wayne Memorial. They earned a solid win against Wayne Memorial. The girls controlled the pace of the match and coming up with big plays when it mattered most.

The last match of the night was against Airport. The freshman girls came out strong against Airport and delivered an impressive victory. From the first serve, the girls showed intensity and focus, determined to rise to the challenge. They communicated well, hustled for every ball, and strung together smart plays. Even when the sets got tight, Huron stayed composed and finished strong, proving their growth and resilience as a team. 

Some of the star players today were Tinsley Barta #6 with a personal best of 15 aces 6 kills and 12 digs, Jaeda Prince #10 with 4 aces 8 kills and 11 digs as a middle, Maci Krzciuk #16 with 10 assists 8 digs and 3 kills, our Libero Vivian Laidler #21 with a personal best of 26 digs 10 kills and 4 aces.
