The JV Lady Chiefs hosted SMCC in a competitive home matchup that tested their resolve and determination. The first set was tightly contested, with the Lady Chiefs battling point-for-point before falling 23-25. SMCC gained momentum in the second set with a 9-25 win, but the Lady Chiefs responded with renewed energy in the third, showing grit before ultimately dropping the set 19-25.
Though the match ended in a 0-3 loss, the Lady Chiefs demonstrated heart, hustle, and continued growth. The experience gained will no doubt fuel their development as they push forward this season.
