The JV Lady Chiefs battled Milan on Wednesday night in a thrilling home opener that showcased grit, heart, and determination. From the opening serve, both teams went point for point in a tightly contested matchup.
Milan took the first set 25-17, but the Lady Chiefs answered back with an incredible effort in the second, pushing it to extra points before narrowly falling 26-28. Refusing to back down, the Chiefs came out strong in the third set and edged out a 15-13 win, finishing the night with pride and momentum.
Despite the 1-2 result, the performance reflected the team’s growth, resilience, and competitive spirit—setting the tone for a promising season ahead.
